Sheila M. Torres, known to friends as SHAY, 40, passed away unexpectedly in Providence, RI, on April 2, 2025.

Sheila was born in Cayey, Puerto Rico to Jose D. Torres and Maria Colon on October 26, 1984. She attended Textron Chamber of Commerce Academy and graduated from University of Rhode Island. She worked as an Intake Coordinator for Butler Hospital.

She had a heart of gold and stood by her beliefs. She enjoyed making people laugh. Her laugh could light up a room. Sheila was just a wonderful person who would give the shirt off her back to help anyone. She will be missed by many and we love you.

Sheila is survived by her son Aaron (AJ) Watkins, 18 and her daughter, Sonia Lee Doggett, 4. Three brothers, Juan Rios, Jose Torres, Miguel (Mickey) Torres and one sister, Ivelisse Dias. She is also survived by her nephews and niece.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, April 10th from 9:00 - 11:00am at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln, followed by a funeral home service at 11:00am. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Providence.
